(1) The Author(s) grants to Modern Art Asia the right to reproduce all or part of the Article without limitation in all media throughout the world for the full period of copyright and any and all extensions, renewals and revivals thereof. The Author(s) retain the right to republish the Article on the basis that Modern Art Asia will be acknowledged as the original site of publication within any republications extra to and postdating this agreement. The Author warrants that the Article has not been published in any other format or media in any language throughout the world prior to publication on the Modern Art Asia website at the date agreed with the Editor(s).

(2) The Author(s) warrants that the Article complies with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The Author(s) warrants that the Article is original and that he or she is able to grant the rights described in this agreement. 

(3) The Author(s) agrees to obtain appropriate permissions from copyright holders for the reproduction on the Modern Art Asia website of any images supplied by the Author(s) to the Editor(s). Modern Art Asia requests that copies of written permissions provided by copyright holders pertaining to images supplied by the Author(s) are supplied to the Editor(s) prior to publication, and that these be supplied by any deadline agreed with the Editor(s). The Author(s) will inform the Editor(s) of any conditions or limitations specified by copyright holders in connection with the reproduction of images supplied by the Author(s).

(4) The Author(s) agrees to indemnify Modern Art Asia against any claims brought by third parties arising from the Author(s)'s failure to comply with paragraphs (2) and (3) of this agreement.

(5) Modern Art Asia asserts the Author(s)'s moral right to be identified as the author of the Article.

(6) The legal system under which this agreement will stand is English Law.

'The Editor(s)' refers to the editors of Modern Art Asia.
'The Author(s)' refers to the person named at the top of this agreement.
'The Article' refers to written work submitted to Modern Art Asia, the title of which is given at the top of this agreement.
